Stefan Zweig is one of my favourite authors. He is one of the 'giants' that the troubled mid-20th century left us with; he manages to capture human behaviour with immense sensitivity to the finer nuances of human gestures. Stefan Zweig’s "Magellan" is not just a historical account; it’s a profound study of entrepreneurship, leadership, perseverance, and vision. Magellan’s journey, as portrayed by Zweig, exemplifies the principles of self-development: embracing challenges, pushing beyond comfort zones, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to one's goals. The narrative shows how Magellan’s resilience and strategic thinking led to monumental achievements despite immense adversity. This makes the book a compelling read for anyone interested in personal growth and the hero's journey.
