On Meaning, Purpose & Fulfilment

Issue #6

Hi Reader,

Whenever I have the opportunity to speak in front of young people, I always open with this statement. 'The one thing I am certain of is you are all creative and you are all leaders, just in different things. Don't let anyone make you think otherwise. Your job is to discover and connect with this thing and own it.'

There’s a need for us to recognise each one of us has a leader, a creative, and a genius inside us. Valuing all types of intelligence fosters an holistic approach to education, work, and community life, recognising and nurturing each individual’s unique abilities.

Explore these concepts further in my latest Medium article, where I delve into the spectrum of intelligence and offer insights on embracing your unique profile.

I hope you enjoy the read.

Revolutionising Intelligence: Beyond IQ — Discover the 12 Group Types of Human Brilliance

Life is changing fast, making old ways of evaluating intelligence outdated. Traditional IQ tests, created in 1904, only measure one type of intelligence.

“By valuing all types of intelligence, we can foster a more holistic approach to education, work, and community life, where each individual’s unique abilities are recognised and nurtured.”

The iDiscover system identifies 12 group types of intelligence, each with three categories, highlighting 36 distinct forms of intelligence. I encourage you to reflect on where your strengths lie and embrace your unique profile.

Something To Reflect On

A quote by Abraham Maslow

“The key question isn't 'What fosters creativity?' But why in God's name isn't everyone creative? Where was the human potential lost? How was it crippled? I think therefore a good question might not be why do people create? But why do people not create or innovate? We have got to abandon that sense of amazement in the face of creativity as if it were a miracle that anybody created anything.”

― Abraham Maslow

A question to ask ourselves: What prevents me from expressing my unique creativity, and how can I re-connect with it? How can I embrace my creative uniqueness? Where along the way did I lose this intrinsic ability?
