This quote from Dalí highlights the subconscious elements of creativity and expression, suggesting the impact and interpretation of artworks—or any form of communication - can transcend the immediate understanding of both the creator and the audience. This approach aligns with the deeper aspects of communication, where meaning is not always straightforward but layered and multifaceted, often requiring reflection and engagement beyond surface-level interpretations.

Questions to ask ourselves: What is more valid, what we intend to communicate or what was perceived by the receiver to be communicated? What is the relationship between the medium and the content, and how much they are affecting one another?
